Santa Fe, New Mexico | Lensic 360 and the Lensic Performing Arts Center announce Santa Fe Summer Scene 2024. From June through the end of August, the Santa Fe Summer Scene presents 56 free concerts and movies at the Santa Fe Plaza, Santa Fe Railyard and Santa Fe Railyard Park, Reunity Resources Park, and SWAN Park. This summer features a diverse, world-class lineup of renowned national artists and the brightest of New Mexico’s local musicians, plus seven free movies.
The fun kicks off on the Plaza on with acclaimed English rock band The Heavy Heavy, followed by Mexico City’s groundbreaking Mexican Institute of Sound in the Railyard. From there, we have acts including indie stars San Fermin, Raashan’s annual “Wonderful Fantastic Hip Hop Festival with Digable Planets, Cajun music legends BeauSoleil, and the ultimate dance party with Cuba’s Cimafunk.
In July Summer Scene celebrates International Folk Art Market with three big world music events leading up to Market weekend: the IFAM artist welcome processing featuring Bombino, Brazilian psychedelia with Os Mutantes, and Afro-Cuban hip hop singer and flutist La Dame Blanche.
